Gottfried, Big Bucks and All. With AMAT hitting a high of $28.125 we have broken the double top of $27. Therefore according to DW the Statistical Probabilities of the Chart Patterns (pg 30) is Double Top Profitability is 80.3%, Average gain is 38.7% within a 11.5 month time frame. With the 28 DW high off the current bottom of 22 DW wise we have a vertical difference of $6 x 3 = $18. Added to $22 we then have a potential of $40 projected high based on current data. Tom Dorsey's AMAT chart is currently showing a $41 High based on recent data.

Gottfried, according to Tom Dorsey the vertical count is more accurate than the horizontal method of calculation.

Big Bucks, naturally, you are still looking for AMAT to go lower into the teens. We will just have to wait and see.

The only difference I can see from news is the potential correction of the Japan situation. Am I missing something?

Just my opinion.
