Hi Jon,

Yeap. That's what I was thinking when I ran across this article.

In addition to the actual cost of the ASIC. The article also implies Royalty rates and the average Cost to the Manufacturer (say Samsung) of producing the phone.

A wealth of information in my opinion. With a few simple assumption like Average Industry Gross Margin rates, we could actually have a complete financial breakdown of what is the profit from the phone to Samsung vs. the revenue to QCOM on a phone that Samsung makes.
