Jack, reading your "Armagedon" litany, almost turned me bullish, another two three weeks my friend and you will see a very nice year end rally starting (not necessarily for gold), but not before treat everyone to a nasty scare, IMHO. Beware of the first half next year however, Armagedon could be revisited with vengeance (VBG). Zeev

Jack, good post for the week. Looking forward to next weeks. A simple addition. It takes money to make money. It takes money to loose money. But when its not your money, but borrowed money, then you are gambling. And when you gamble, three things are guaranteed. 1. You will sometimes win. 2. You will sometimes loose. 3. In the end, you will loose more than you win. The only question left to answer is, who will pay the debt. Sometimes innocent folks like us. Stock up on beans, and don't forget the candles. Don't trade beans for gold. Can't eat gold. Soon Russia will have a government whereby all the Russian people will come to see as their best so far. It will let those that need to depend soly on others get their bread and shelter from government social programs, it will let those creative soles create jobs to the benifit of all, and the vast majority that have settled in with an acceptance of a state run society will finally have one that works better than any they ever had. This new Russian government will comprise of two elements, each by itself is a disaster to rule the country, but together it has good checks and balances to produce a product in the form of a government that works for the Russian people. Its a government 1/2 communist bosses + 1/2 criminals mob bosses. I thinh Zeev forgot to add this suprise into his next years equation. Doug
