So then .. with the liquidity drain that has been heading toward Japan the likelihood of a sustained rally seems thin ..

The folks who get their news in the mail this week decide to save what they can and move toward cash.

Next we have the hedge fund situation. The most leveraged of these have stuck their necks out based on mathematical probabilities that the market would stay within certain bounds. It's when the market goes outside of those bounds that they run into real problems. We have had a market that has gone outside of those bounds.

Seems to me that the bill comes due Friday. You mentioned a critical level of something like 1030. When I asked what you saw as a result, I was thinking of another round of hedge fund implosion.

Now these are market FA types of logic. And as we all know .. this market has ignored FA for a long time now..

Your thoughts?
