I should amend my complaint about the quality of info on this thread. Yours does seem to
be good. And by the way I'm long, but on what I expect to be a very short term basis, ie
about 1 or 2 days. I see upside based on short covering. I'll short if it gets near the high


I had not taken it as a personal insult. I have seen the quality of your posts too which I like. You and I are thinking a like. I am long a touch more shares than short so have an upward bias for a few days as well. When it appears to be near the high, I will sell the long shares.

My point was this was not a buy and hold stock for the long term at present valuation. I seemed to have difficulty explaining that<G>

What makes you think, that shorts will start covering tomorrow.
For shorts to start covering there can only be two reasons.

1. Profit taking (too early for that, because YHOO obviously has a large downside potential at this point)

2. Serious buying pressure (this also isn't happening, based on the price action in the last few days.)

I am short since 127. And I find it a profitable position at this point. Why should I cover?
