It's a fact. What's your problem with it? Do you think a stock should automatically go down based on lowered earnings estimates?

OC, you are completely hung up on those earnings numbers. Amazon's stock price is not and has not been driven by near-term profitability, and that is not an insane concept. Amazon has been a call on e-commerce, and as long as it executes on Bezos' stated goals, I doubt the Street will share your obsession. At some point you should decide whether or not you have been betting on the correct metrics.
