will are scheduled to be announced in the fourth
quarter of 1998.

Randy Battat, senior vice president and general
manager of ING, said, "We are impressed with
NETRIX's enterprise backbone capabilities and
strengths in integrated voice/data networking.
The technology from this partnership

will allow us to add high speed networking
quickly while continuing to invest strongly in
new technologies to address emerging markets."

Lynn Chapman, NETRIX President and CEO, said,

established a close working relationship with
Motorola. We have been working together for
over three months to ensure flawless execution
of the launch plans. With the addition of
NETRIX's solutions, Motorola can offer a full
range of voice and data integration solutions
equivalent to those of Cisco and Lucent."

Chapman continued, "Our partnership with
Motorola strengthens our position in the
voice/data convergence market and leverages
our multi-service voice and data capabilities.
This relationship enables us to increase our
penetration of the voice over data networking
