My problem with the Kosovo situation, as I have said repeatedly, is that we are using a different standard there than we have used in analogous situations, most particularly, Chechnya. (There, too, there were reports of massive aid to the "rebel" side from outside, which turned out to be untrue, incidentally.) In other words, why do some "massacres" bother us, and not others? jbe
