El..... I saw the greenberg piece on cnbc this morning too! Your synopsis is right on the mark. He also likened all the HOSTILE Email to the days of IOMEGA...... what a piece of work. As you stated, the only reason he was on there this morning.... was to try and gain a little respectibility. You should have a beautiful day for golf today! Hit'em straight! RichieH

El, I also watched the "interview" with Greenberg. If I wasn't convinced last week, I am now. It seems obvious that the Greenberg & Co. have a losing options play on CPQ right now and are trying to move the stock before expiry. JMHO. bp

Hey El...I saw the Greenberg interview this morning, you're right...this guy IS a jerk, and talk about being biased towards a stock! He DID try and talk down CPQ stock by trying to spread a FALSE rumor...He never told us the source of this rumor so he's lost ALL credibility in my book....especially as soon as earnings come out to prove him wrong...Yes Mr. Greenberg doesn't own or short any stocks...why should he? If I was on the take, making a hefty salary from MM's to talk down the price of a stock by spreading false rumors on national TV, I wouldn't own any stocks either!
