IMO, the Falcons are not that good & the Giants are that bad.

The Giants looked horrible to me. In the first half, the Falcons made every effort to hand the game to the Giants, but Kanell & Co. could do nothing. I am very impressed with the D, though, considering that Seyhorn and Sparks are out. Take 2 ace CBs from any other D in the league, and you have a sieve. The Giants D still covers decently, even with some scrub DBs running around the secondary.

The Falcons are a lock to make the playoffs, but only because the NFC is so weak. Chris Chandler has not been sharp this year. Don't get me wrong. He's playing well, just not brilliantly like the last 3-4 years with Houston/Atlanta. The Falcons chances against quality opponents revolve entirely around him. He is the straw that stirs the drink.
