How did this stock make it to a low it hasnt seen in at least four years. Why did these people wait for the stock to hit an all time low to sell because of one bad quarter?

Can you spell margin call? Redemptions? Many of us are lucky just to be losing our shirts. Some people are margined with few or no other investments. How much do you have to be margined to get a call when you stock drops from 22 to 10?

What are fund managers supposed to sell when people pull their money out (a small advantage to hedge funds that only have to worry about this once a quarter)?

Then there are those who sell because it is not cast in stone that the stock can only go up from here. It is likely due to these reasons that those who invest around $10 will invariably do quite well.

Mad dog...

<< now you hit on something! why are mutual fund managers and other brockerage firms selling below the historical lows. How did this stock make it to a low it hasnt seen in at least four years. Why did these people wait for the stock to hit an all time low to sell because of one bad quarter? >>

That pretty well sums up my concerns also, and keeps me from buying more. Fore's management is suspect. They have failed to execute in a product niche that they virtually had a monopoly on.
