*****************OFF TOPIC: CORRUPTION OF THE BODY***************

Dan,

Yes, I've read The Bridge of San Luis Rey, although to be honest I don't remember it too well. There is also Dostoyevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. If I recall correctly, Father Zosima's body shows no signs of decay after his death, which reinforces Alyosha's belief that Zosima was a true saint...Or is it the other way around? Zosima's body begins to decay, which shakes Alyosha's belief in Zosima's saintliness? Must check that again! (Orthodox Christians take the same view of this as the Catholics do.)
