Re. analysts biased
Hi Maxwell , they are biased for the same reason the Intelopers are
that visit our thread . They have a ton of money tied up in a company that has lost serious market share .
Wouldn't you be worried ?
So by knocking the competition they feel that the competition will disappear somehow . The point they seem to miss is that a key to AMD success is achieving appreciably smaller die sizes than Intel , that way AMD can undercut them if they have sufficient volume to make them profitable which they achieved at the end of the latest quarter .For example compare K6-2 (81mm) to Celeron (150mm) , even K6-3 is smaller at 120mm . I don't know about you but I would prefer a stock that has gained market share and credibility and has a price/book value just over 1 , to a company that has lost market share and has a price /book value of 6.48 ,
bye for now , Brian
