Post below is from Kiplinger Washington Editors, and summarizes the 1972-73 bear market that lasted for 21 months. Does DWA have a point and figure chart that can be resurrected for the Dow in 1972-73? It might be worth comparing its onset to what we are seeing now.

The day the NYSEBP reversed back down, you said that test of DOW 7400 held ... so back up the trucks and load up. Two days later, you say this rally is unfundamental buying. Please differentiate between trading and investing, your posts are confusing.
