I couldn't agree more. How could we make developing foreign policy that is consistent and just, a pet concern of the American people. Any president who could pull that off would get my thumbs up. The Monroe doctrine was a good example.

Agreed and if anyone does raise concern over a foreign relations issue you ussually get the high brow treatment.
