Good point. The Issue of tariffs could be nullified IF Hyundai and Samsung build more Fab's in the US. I think HD is ready but Samsung is not committed; YET. Yields are good enough at Samsung on the new generation part that they should be making money too; in the US.

Thanks for your insights. U.S. Congress won't release IMF $$$ without strict conditions. Lots and lots of political pressure now in congress to ensure that IMF $$$ won't subsidize korean semiconductors. MU and others screaming bloody murder. U.S. steel industry has become an ally. Korean trade surplus has been positive all year. Seems like they are importing next to nothing in the way of capital equipment. How long can they go on like this? It has all the makings of an "end game" in chess.
