Yeah michelle i luv shorting software, like my jdec, sap and vrts shorts? :-( oh well, the damage is offset. massive short covering in baanf today, it is a possible re-short at these levels. it will likely see $7.

To: Mad Duck From: paul Tuesday, Oct 13 1998 12:17AM EST -Preview- has anyone heard that Baan is basically a religious cult - the town of Baan (?) in holland is the center of a religion group and that Jan baan and his family are leading members of this group. If this is true i think this would add to some of the questions of how transparent are Baans financials and motivations. In fact ive heard that visitors to the Baan headquarters in Holland are asked to participate in prayers when they are on the campus. while their growth in the US and addition of US employees in silicon valley have made them try to hide this here its still a fact of life in holland - can anyone shed some light into this??
