Much depends on my read of market sentiment and turns, I typically assess the market context for a period of time and will trade according to my assessment. Secondly, I select sectors for trading and develop a firm understanding of the market's purview of the sector. Third, I use momentum emas and support levels to determine entry points. BUT, I wait for reversal and buyers to return by examining price volume data. You will note that for last week, my perspective was long the market regardless how awful the DOW was tanking.
