Rocky -

What was the point of that post?

From my closing quotes, it looks like IOM was up 11.76% today, YHOO was up 8.34%, and SYQT closed unchanged.

Since, on a percentage basis, IOM has outperformed YHOO for the last two days running, I don't understand why you are gloating. If you had bought IOM instead of YHOO two days ago, you would be up more than you are. By several percentage points.

Then again, since, as you yourself point out, even "toilet stocks" can go up on a day like today, what's the point of boasting that your stock is up?

Yahoo? It has gone up like a rocket for the past year or more. If you're just now buying it for the first time, then you've missed most of the ride. Maybe you should spend less time obsessing about Iomega, and more time looking for good opporunities.

I'm surprised you would use SYQT as an example. Since the stock closed at 5/32 on Friday, a gain of 20% amounts to 3.125 cents a share. Plus, mentioning them might remind people that just this past spring, you were predicting that SyQuest was going to eat Iomega's lunch, and would be trading at 6 dollars plus within months.

You kept believing every one of their hype-filled press releases, using them as evidence that Iomega was doomed.

>>Now then, my YHOO buy late last week is proving to be a very good move indeed. My investment is Up over 10% in just 2 day's time, and this is a stock which is over $100. A magnificent performer, this YHOO.<<

Rocky -

Since you brought it up, I thought I'd just post a little update.

Down day over all in the market, with most tech stocks leading the way.

10/13

YHOO down 3.93%
IOM up 1.75%

So for the last three days, Iomega has outperformed Yahoo.

These comparisons are pretty silly, wouldn't you say?
