Gateway had been using a Chromatic based solution. And yes, we have seen news where Chromatic appears to have existed that business. I'm sure companies still carry Chromatic based solution in their inventories.

Why not just open the box and take a peek?

I also recently purchased a new Gateway with DVD. I opened the box, and saw a Chromatic chip on the MPEG decoder. Too bad, I would have liked to seen CUBE. It's been working well so far, though.
