Well, that is certainly what the site says, no question there; however, it would be interesting to know how often these guys are right.
I hope CPQ reports a better number than .03, IMHO that would take us back to the low 20s. Either way, I am probably going to sell into any rally tomorrow, or at least pick up some protective putts.

Whisper numbers are bogus....last quarter they predicted a loss of .07 instead of the actual +.02...if that's not missing the boat completely I don't know what is.

Having watched EP on CNBC last Friday, and previously on Charlie Rose, this guy comes across as if he's holding some aces and keeping a poker face. Think earnings will suprise.

*******Quiet Period********
I always wondered what is this quiet period and where did it come from?
Here is some information from CBS market watch....

>>PeopleSoft cited the Securities and Exchange Commission-mandated "quiet period" as the reason it didn't want to address the conference. The quiet-period mandate prohibits companies from talking about business during the 30 days before they formally release quarterly results.

However, most companies continue with investment conferences even in quiet periods. When a company pulls out of the gathering, some investors interpret that as a sign that the company has bad news that it wants to hide.<<
