Institutional ownership of stocks is included in the premium data services from MarketGuide, which are available from www.marketguide.com and from www.tscn.com (where I get them, and where I can use them as a screening parameter). Customers of Ameritrade get these reports free. Maybe other people can suggest other places to get them, too.

A Bloomberg terminal is the very best place to get these data, but then that's not the web and it's far from cheap.

Try this for financials: 207.226.179.207

I'm not even sure who runs it, but I found it through an SI post and use it often for five-year financial info and industry comparisons. Just fill in the company you want at the top.
