At this point I'd say we have nothing but time on our hands, but maybe someday IDT will make us all proud...

Rob:
<< Clear Logic may start to contribute to earnings around the year 2000 - seriously. Until then, any earnings are likely to be plowed back into R & D and growth costs. This is a very promising area for long-term development but will be quite a while before it returns anything to the parent company according to IDT management.>>

Given IDTI's execution history and the management's credibility, it is very doubtful that Clear Logic will do anything to IDTI's bottom line. I have been followed IDTI since 1995. A lot of people who have read and posted in this site (including myself) have been led to believe the hypes from IDTI on its Fusion Memory, Graphic Chips, Fast Switch chips and more recently C6/Winchip 2 & 3. A dead clock will yield a correct time twice a day. But IDTI seems always have trouble to turn any hypes into real earning (for even once). Unless Perham and his buddies get kicked out, it is doubtful that one will see IDTI to outperform the semiconductor sector.
