I am a DDS. I spoke with LaPointe at lenght about laserbrush. I have afew patients that would get one immediately, but I haven't seen anything in the dental journals about it. If they sent one to me, I would try it, and be more comfortable recommending it to patients.
They have no sales force to offer these to dentists, it seems.
Millenium, when the share price goes high enough I will cash in a bunch of shares and buy one.
I was very dosappointed in the price today. Even with the approval, we are still below the price a month ago. Remember when premier made their announcement. It went from 6 to 16. Of course we all know what
happened there. Possibly that is what is keeping this one down for now. However, there is just too much going on here to stay this low for long. Buyout a definite possibility, but at what price?

I agree - the conference call was mostly a repeat of the Press Release. Medical questions seemed well-handled by the medical experts they had available. Questions about sales, production, distribution, funding, etc. were mainly answered with jargon and safe-harbor style statements. My impression was that BLTI wanted to talk about and publicize the FDA approval, not talk about investment matters. I expected them to have a better statement ready to address US distribution. They said that they had immediate orders ready to ship for Millenium. I had the impression of units sitting on the loading dock waiting for the truck. But it could have also been orders in a file cabinet ready to go into production. It was difficult to get quantified information, but I think the purpose was to celebrate FDA approval, not report on the fundamentals.
