There can be circumstances when profits are "obscene", as when at the battle of Gettysburg farmers were charging wounded soldiers large sums of money to take them to aid stations, and would leave people without enough money to die. But that doesn't apply here. I have complaints about MSFT, but them making a profit isn't one of them. It certainly doesn't do MSFT's critics much good to whine about MSFT's positive qualities, but I can't really expect them to be rational...
