Looks like financial sector entered a dump mode at the end of the day.
CCI, BT, JPM, MER, LEH, FP ..... (except for PVN, but I suspect this one will follow COF after its earnings).

In general, very low volume day on DOW. Things kind of started speeding up at the end, though.

Good Luck, ladies and gentlemen.

COF looked sick today after strong open. I'm not concerned with what COF earned last quarter. COF and PVN will be dogs based on current and future state of economy. Turning negative for these overvalued dogs.

Watched these internet stocks come off their 52 week lows since Friday.

Watched GCTY go from 19 to 13 to 19.

Watched DCLK go from $21 to $13 to 19.50 today.

Jumped on DCLK and shorted the crap out of it around $19 this afternoon. Stock tanked to $18 before close.

DCLK is one internet advertiser that will not sustain a 30 times book value. I'm expecting DCLK in the single digits by November.

DCLK is a MAJOR DOG!!!

acf looked most bearish with weak close after gap up. mstr looks like it is being manipulated - both on rise and on fall. someone mentioned net stocks - i'd be very leery of shorting leaders in their fields, esp. fields that are growing fast. pvn closed at 200 d ma - good entry point for short imo.

re. market, I see a few possible scenarios:

1. extended trading range with upside at 50 d MA and downside at 7400.
2. scenario 1 with ultimate breakdown to 5700 - 6000. this will depend on breadth during scenario 1. If breadth remains poor then scenario 2 is inevitable. If breadth broadens a lot then scenario 1 will be followed by upside breakout.
