Lee- I agree with your assessment...When Ralph Acampora called for a 6500-7000 downside target last week...they (CNBC) led with (the story) in their news segments, market wraps all day....This morning, Acampora reversed, and called Thursday's action a bottom.....I've been listening to CNBC on and off today and have not heard one mention of it...

At least, they are starting to do one thing right.....lately, when an portfolio manager returns for their "TAKING STOCK" segment, they have been putting up that manager's previous picks (from his/her previous visit on CNBC) and those stocks' return in the interim period....They should have been doing this long ago....

While I'm on the topic, those two guys from Barron's (who do segments on CNBC, "the boys") are simply awful..They appear to only have a limited knowledge of markets, economics, etc...Is this the best Barron's has??
