srv--

you werent paying attention. i said it could be true. i also said it could be wrong.

speculation is all we have.

but, now that you mention it, lets look at some of it...

BC...we are still supplying to them. they were to have switched over to ALA by now.

BT...havent heard ALA mentioned with them in a long time, and the real deployment there hasnt even started yet, though when it does its going to be WSTL/Fujitsu equipment (q1 99)

Fujitsu/GTE/ORCTF...where is the fujitsu equipment coming from? the contract was signed when the yen was trading much lower against the dollar. maybe the deal that was so good for GTE has suddenly become expensive. at any rate, fujitsu may just decide they dont need ORCTF. you never know. one other note here...who is going to control residential broadband in the merged BEL/GTE? BEL sticking with WSTL indicates to me that they are in the drivers seat.

of course, fujitsu could be within weeks of buying ORCTF. who knows. no one is talking. at any rate, you should be thinking about these things. they are all possible.

good luck to all,
trey

In my area, Research Triangle Park, NC, GTE is rolling out Fujitsu/ORCTF modems with their service here, had a demo at the local branch last week of 1.5/768k service ... This has been rolled out at Duke University, and all CO's have been equipped ... so what was it you said about Fujitsu/ORCTF???

I don't want this to be so, as I own a good bit of WSTL stock ... (for me) but I have seen the evidence and used it, no less ...
