Why does this seem strange to you? Didn't you watch CPQ fall relentlessly every day for about 9 or 10 sessions to 22+7/8? Very rarely did it close at the low of the day. It always came back a bit, to suck eager longs in. Then it would go lower the next day. So when CPQ is upticking, why should it always close at or close to the high of the day? Just because it slips from an enormous daily gain doesn't mean that the run is over. It's just reality.
