Those are my two choices. I did not know which way to go so I opted for FAT. FAT is the only file system that is recognized by DOS, Win95/98 and NT. FAT has a 2GB limitation but my SCSI drive is 2GB so that is not a concern.

There are other considerations. If I use NTFS the Win95 boot will not see the drive and therefor not assign a drive letter to it. I have not figured out whether this is good or bad.

Likewise the NT installation (if/when I get it installed will not see the FAT32 drives.

Partition Magic has an option to change formats. I will start with FAT and consider changing to NTFS later.
