I think the Columbus Day holiday had a lot to do with it. I agree but I think COMS is moving back up too fast without any retracement. That is not normal.

Also, shorts covered because
of G-span rumor to ease rates soon, so not as many
shorts.

Also, today's a holiday and bond market was closed. Maybe
that has some bearing.
