That's great news, Scott! Got a source for those latest figures? Everything I can find puts it between 3-5,000 per 100,000. I like your figures a lot better, but sure would feel better if I knew who put them out.

The additional problem is the potential for a whole bunch of these thingies to act-up at about the same time. A few here and a few there spread out over random spacing is one thing to deal with. A gob of them at once is another..... imho.

Also, I've read a lot of analysis which is not consistent with your comment about *ticks*.
