AOL tripled their allocated shares prior to their previous 2-1.

Considering AOL's history, it would be surprising if a 3-1 split was announced. OTOH, it would also be surprising if a 2-1 was not announced soon.

No no, you are right. That is what I thought. I noticed that to. I thought I was one of the few to see that. Wow that would be great. Maybe the are expecting a large increase inearnings over the next 2-3 years.
