>>Cable Modems for Trading <<

That's great if you live in Orange County.

We don't have cable modems yet in the Washington/Baltimore
area.

Cable Modems,

World Wide Trader, agree completely with you about cable modems. They scream! I've had mine for about 6 months now. It was $150 to install and includes the equipment and runs $45 per month. The service guys installed an ethernet card and the modem. I've downloaded 4 megabyte files in less than 10 seconds. I couldn't be more pleased. If fact, I bought @home stock after getting it.

While it still has limited coverage, they are rolling it out much faster now. Anyone with TCI in the Bay Area should check it out.

I run Signal Online with streaming quotes on it all the time plus multiple browsers. Another cool thing is its always on the net. As soon as your computer powers on its connected - no more of that slow dialing out and waiting to see if you can get a good connection.

One happy surfer....
