I just signed up for ADSL 384/128 with PacBell. It's more expensive here at $59 + $30 for the isp. Installation is $249 (or $299 if you also need a network card). If/when cable modem service becomes available here then I'll probably switch.

if your on-line 12 hours a day like me then adsl is the way to go, it's cheaper and faster.
