Maurice:

I say the lawyer cost at a couple of hundred dollars an hour

One attorney? Now, even OJ had a team of attorneys and support staff. Johnnie Cochran charged OJ $1 Million and that didn't cover his overhead. Think about a team of attorneys in court. With the attorneys come dozens, upon dozen, of support staff. The support staff will include attorneys to do legal research on case law, techology, etc. Included also will be paralegals. Next come experts. They just can't call Viterbi and Jacobs, they need other experts too!

1% of all revenues for a decade might be extreme, but who knows.

Do you think that only Irwin Jacobs has patents? no one else has a patent? The patenting process and one inventor are two different topics.

Take care Maurice and starting counting that 1%....
