(Nasdaq: MVSI - news) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a change in the Company's name to ''Socrates Technologies'' and a change in the Company's ticker symbol to ''SOCT,'' effective upon and subject to stockholder and other approvals. ''Socrates Technologies'' is the name of the Company's major information technology (IT) subsidiary. Technet Computer Services, Inc., the Company's other major subsidiary, will retain its name and remain as the custom software development subsidiary of the Company.
