Gonzongo: Judging from your profile you could teach us quite a bit about TA. I'm a beginner, and have no trouble accepting that you probably know more than I know about TA, in general. But if you don't think that was a bear flag formation, and the last few days a trap, what do you think? After all, the market did go down, not sideways or up after the formation. Here's some basic information about how to recognize the bear flag: chartpatterns.com Seems to me that raising a single question shouldn't cause anyone to flee in terror, nor to be roused to agitating for mass brutality, either. If you think that was not a bear flag formation, then tell us why not. Stick around and talk about it. Linda
