Everybody seems to consider how it was if one was living as squirrel.

Hm, I cannot follow back every's lifes through the eras of soul-wandering. What I mentioned - if it's interesting to anyone - was:

I read a message that an average loss of 40% is expected for the BIG investment-banks. Than I read, Merryl Lynch should come out with a plus of 20%.

I read dozens of statements about "disappointing" earnings.

That's skurril for itself, because a bunch of so called analysts invented the "expected" number, not God or the oracle of Delphi. So, if they want to have "surprises", they announce relative bad numbers, if they want disappointments, they announce to optimistic numbers.

Now you can see that numbers seem to be "careful" and we probably get surprises. But the lamb-heard is wandering south. They believed in what the dogs used to say. Why should I think myself if I have a teevee? No "moderator" would keep commenting in teevee if he knew how the market will go - he would invest and get rich.

Nothing against the peace of living outside the world. But you cannot earn money in your eremitage, Berney-Trader, you will lose your inflation-percents, and when you're in bonds, you can lose a lot when Mr. Greenspan will increase the interest-rates on a sunny day. Better, you will lose a lot if you will leave the bond-prison then.

Is anybody here who really believes Europe could crash or Dell could stop selling? I would respect this opinion - and the consequence to stay outside. But if not - do you really believe you can buy cheaper than 50% below maximum?

A - former - friend of mine was trading with a man who owned a large American mobilhome. He stood in front of his office (my friend was a cardealer), and every morning my friend went out and discussed about prices. Startprice was 69.000,- DM. After 3 weeks they was at 28.000,- DM. My friend told that he wantet buy the next day. The next day the mobilhome was away. Either my friend didn't need a mobilhome, than he was an ass. Or he would have loved to own such a monster, than he was an idiot.

If he would have an advisor, recommending him to stay in cash, and he did what this "expert" said, he was an stuffed squirrel.

Thats what I ment.
