Good morning to you also young lady,

See you made it back in time to try to cage the big 6,000,000th post.

We have been doing some boating and fishing. Fishing is a jerk on one end of a pole waiting for a jerk on the other end.

My grandmother was Catholic. She liked eating fish but come Friday when she had too, it was macaroni and cheese night.

"I have nothing to say intelligent or amusing about the subject." Slim Pickens for me too. Fishing is not for ADHD people; they can't be quiet and will eventually create some commotion and fall out of the boat.

We're not well-liked by hookers.

Besides, you have "get up to go fishing".
I'm sure. Like I'm going to get up and go sit in a foggy, cold boat.
And then try to stay awake.

Miss penni,

Please accept my profuse apologies for littering your thread with those two empty messages. As you might suspect, I was trying to grub The Big One, but was foiled again. I promise the SI threadsweepers will soon take care of them and they will be gone. Of course, their presence will screw with the grubbing endeavors at Rambi for a while, and I apologize for that too.

I have nothing intelligent or amusing or even dumb or boring to say at this unholy hour. I must now go make coffee and orient myself to the world around me. Be back later.

Holly

I would have to agree with your pert assessment of angling. What is it about fathers that even thought most of them never fish otherwise, they feel this peculiar paternal need to take a kid on a fishing trip? My own less than enthralling experience was sitting in a smelly little boat for four hours in the broiling sun while my father explained the nuances of the fishing experience that I undoubtedly seemed to be missing. I thought the bait was disgusting and I was lathered in sunblock. And not one fish bit. This was fun? It was down at the seashore and I could have been at the beach the entire time. I whined the last two hours until the old man finally relented. I don't think he ever went fishing again, by himself and certainly not with me.
