In very short term, the layoffs are all but accretive. Should be a nice short but depending on the opening. A opening still over 40 should be good entry.
But I look at COF (posts $1 - inline with estimates but failed to meet whisper numbers by 2c) and - PVN then. PVN at rich $62?

Dale, I don't know if MER is a short or not. Most stocks go down at least 25% on such an earnings shortfall. I do know I am still kicking myself for not buying it last Thursday at noon in the 30's
