Anyone care to speculate on who the suitor may be for EOG? It sure seems like the street wants ENE to lose EOG. I think it would be a good move as well, so ENE can focus on its "core" business(es): natural gas, electricity, water and fiber optic networks. Those four areas need enough attention. I think that selling its interest in EOG would free the company from much of the volatility of the commodity world, as well as give ENE a nice chunk of change to pay down some debt, increase the dividend, start another buyback, look at more strategic acquisitions, etc. I think the cash would be put to good use. Shareholder value, shareholder value, shareholder value!
