Here's an article that is even more interesting than the Huber article. Its link was provided by Lawrence Kam on the Disk Drive thread. Rather that having two discussions at the same time, I suggest everyone respond to it on the original thread. I think it is one of the best articles I have read this year.

Good comments. Where does Occam's razor fit in? Is the "sniff-test" just the economist's way of saying the same thing?
