? - On the ''fiscal year end'' and tax loss selling of Mutual Funds/Institutions...

Does anyone have any specific information on what percentage of Mutual Funds and/or Institutions use October as the end of their fiscal year ?

My question is to tax loss selling; We are seeing some heavy big block tax loss selling in many of the high flying momenteum favorites of the Institutions/Funds. My information shows most (?) Funds use the end of October as the fiscal year end; hence the heavy Institutional tax loss selling should subside at the end of the month ?

...it is a given that individual investors will sell to the end of December; however - I do not see that as a major factor. My premise is that, now through the beginning of November, is ''THE'' time to take advantage of the Institutional/Fund dumping for tax loss sales... comments ? Statistics, observations ?
