TMF bears post, squealing with glee

from ts.c

The best part: Amazon's junk bonds, which were issued in
May, have fallen 24% to yesterday's price of 48, while its
stock has booked a gain of more than 100%. With a yield of
13.5% -- nearly nine percentage points above Treasuries --
"it trades like Guatemala," jokes one short-seller. While the
bonds' decline is part of an overall swoon in junk bonds, it
also says that "those who carefully assess the risk of not
getting paid off are terrified," the short-seller adds. "This is
trading like a disaster, yet the equity holders, who are junior
in their claim on the business, value the company at $5
billion."

Duh, the Amazon is in Brazil, not Guatemala

and

Excerpts from HG's article: (hee)

"
Nobody's suggesting that Amazon is going out of business, but when a company's bonds are falling
and its stock is rising, investors should beware...

...You can only wonder what poor suckers bought into yesterday's message board hype that
Boston Chicken's (BOST:Nasdaq) common stock could still have value...
"

Yeah, yeah, I know that bookselling has nothing to do with selling chickens.

Glen,<I have been trying to short AMZN for sevral months. Today, for the first time, my broker had stock available (2,600 shares).

Independent of my price targets, I thought you might be interested that significant shares are now available.>
This is from TMF. I haven't has a chance to call around yet.
Has anyone out there found there are substantial shares to short?
If there are, an Elephant or two has stopped eating?
