I agree Melissa, after this malaise Im going long Siebel. But where is the bottom thats the question.... over a year of gains wiped out at this point.

No question that Siebel has become the 900-pound gorilla of the front office space. Siebel has succeeded in creating a cross-industry market for SFA where there was none before. Countless firms are seeking to emulate Siebel in the mid-market or in targeted verticals.

Looking forward, SAP is probably two years away from having any sort of credible solution. The broad industrial market is nowhere near saturation yet.

Is Siebel transitioning to a more sustainable long-term growth (e.g. 50%)? Possibly, but I bet it's not going to happen this quarter-- or next. I guess we'll get some answers in another day.
