Not the Devil or Just a Grubber I am responding to the first post that was made in the five minute countdown to the 6,000,000 post. This post #reply-5999905 was where the count stood as the minute flicked over from #reply-5999904. That is just coincidence, just a a Grub you might say. It was two weeks before last Halloween. Compared to the 3,000,000th post, the pace was rapid, to say the least. With seventeen minutes to go the counter had stood 282 posts short of the 6,000,000 mark, not 100. That mark was being approached at at very steady pace. The last 5 minutes would see 95 posts made and in the same minute as the six millionth post there would be 28 posts made to SI. In a ten minute period surrounding the Grub there would be 205 posts made to SI. Amazingly the 80% Grub rate achieved around the 3,000,000 grub is bettered to ninety percent, 9 of the ten nearest posts are grubs. It is growing, rapidly.
