IE thinks you chose it to be your default browser. All you have to do is set it straight. Someone with a PC will tell you how; don't worry. --Linda

lisa: There is a folder: Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

In here is all the shortcuts to programs that start up when you start Windows 95.

To stop IE from starting up when you start windows, you can stop it by just deleting the short cut!

If you want to verify that you will be deleting the correct shortcut...to determine what program a shortcut launches...select the shortcut and click you right hand mouse button and click on properties and then click on the shortcut tab and look at the target field.

Once you have determined that you do not want to launch the program...go back and delete the shortcut to it!

It is just that simple!
