If they lower the spread will they get enough more volume to justify the reduced margin?
At least, they will get a volume. The volume is so thin when the spread is large that I don't see how they are making any money.

If you were an MM with no inventory, would you reduce the spread?
No.

If you were long, would you be anxious to sell shares now?
Yes, And I would let this thing run on every bit of news. Have we seen that? No.

If you were short would you want to buy shares?
It depends. If I would have shorted at 5. I would buy, for sure. But, if I shorted a lot at 0.17, I would not be eager to buy. I would try to drag it down more.

Sigmund, I wouldn't want to be short, also. ;-)

BTW, the ASK is at 0.50 again on volume at 20,000. Every time, we see a tiny amount of buying, they make the spread wider. What are they afraid of?
