The options that were cancelled had a very high probability of expiring worthless.

IF YOU NOTICED, only 25 mil of Silverscum's 45 mil were even talked about in the press release. The other 20 mil were 1996 and earlier AND THEREFORE ALREADY IN THE MONEY. THAT is why Silverscum didn't even talk about those.
